Introducing me!

Hiya guys, 

This is my first ever blog post, I was going to say of the year, but it is actually my first one ever! I think it is necessary to introduce myself to all you beautiful people. 

My name is Sonal Lad and I am a below average 18 year old girl from England! 
I started this blog because I have always been interesting in writing to a mass audience and I believe that this could be the starting point of trying to get into journalism. I also love the idea of being able to interact with people from all over the world on issues that are dear to my heart! 
I think as time goes on, you will get to know me a lot more and hopefully I get to know all of you guys a lot better!

Fresher's Ball in my 2nd Year

Hiya guys, I'm currently writing this blog post after 3 mental days which included; going to the Fresher's ball as a 2nd year (that's the topic of today), turning 20 and bringing my Mancunian friends to the big city. The latter two are pretty much irrelevant for today's post but I mean they all sort of blend together I think. The Fresher's Ball is done at pretty much every university in England and is a way for first year's to end their 'relaxation' period and get ready for the real work. I missed last year's because I went home for my sisters birthday so I was even more determined to go this and have an epic time. Strictly Top 5 - Claudia and AJ

Hiya guys, The Strictly tour has been over for a while but my brain hasn't wrapped itself around the fact that I have to wait until September for it too start again. But, these Strictly posts are going to keep coming until I've maybe done one for every bit of Strictly possible. If you follow me on any of my social media, or have followed my last few posts, you'll know that Claudia Fragapane and AJ Pritchard were one of my favourite couples in the show and I was gutted that they didn't make it to the final. It wasn't just because they were amazing together and danced amazingly, I think it helped that they are pretty similar age as me (Claudia is 19, I'm 20 and AJ is 22) so I liked seeing some younger people dancing! I know that I put some of their dances in my other top 5's, but I'm going to do one anyway because most of their dances were phenomenal . 1.
