Will Jay is an angel!

Hiya guys,

Time for me to introduce you to yet another artist that I am loving at the moment and literally listen to on a near hourly basis. Will Jay Behlendorf is a 19 year old singer/ songwriter from LA who used to be in the boyband IM5 but has been a solo artist for longer than a year.

I don't even know where to start with the masterpiece that is Will Jay so I guess I will say a bit about him and his personality then I will go onto his music and list some of the standout aspects of his musical talents and then link you to some of my favourite videos of him. 

Will is the sweetest person ever and is a combination of being slightly geeky, very talented and such a gentleman. When he was part of IM5, he was ever so shy and introverted but when he was comfortable with an interviewer, such as Ava from On The Spot Interviews, he really burst out of his bubble and he would come out with some of the best one liners I have ever heard. He is the kind of person that you would marry at a heartbeat because he is a guy that any girl would dream about.

Musically, I don't think I can categorise Will into any one genre because he has shown that he can sing and dance to pretty much everything and anything that has a melody too it. With his talent of identifying perfect pitch and knowing what he can contribute to the music industry means that he doesn't ever lose himself and is a true artist.

I personally love his song writing skills and the way he takes an amazing melody and puts such heartfelt lyrics to them that are catchy and meaningful. From Superman (of which he wrote with Dalton Rapattoni) and Heartless that he wrote for IM5 to some of his own songs such as Watercolours and Carnival, it almost seems crazy that someone this young can write songs like this with such ease and flow. 

What also makes him stand out is the ability to take a variety of songs from the same or different artists and put them into a mashup that flows so well that it sounds as if it should be one song alone. It is so hard to put songs together that are of different genre's and tempos yet keep the essence of each song and adapt them to each other. I think it is an ability like this that separates the singers from the musicians and Will Jay is definitely one of those few musicians.

Ice Skating in London... well attempting too!

Hiya Guys, I am really getting into the Christmas mood this week and I decided to have a wack at one of the most Christmas like activities... ICE SKATING! I have never really gone before especially outside but due to it being cheap and the option for students getting a free drink, me and 2 friends decided to go to the National History Museum who had a Swarovski Ice Rink. It meant skating in the beautiful London air as the sun went down with the lights hung on all the trees. Everything seemed gorgeous as we sipped our free hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream. That was until we started skating! All the photos we got from the free picture booth shows me holding my friends hand and it all looks so friendly and sweet... honestly it was just because I would have fallen otherwise. I was absolutely awful compared to one of my friends who was a natural and the other who had 5 years of ice skating training, I mean I could barely let go of the barrier without someone holding me...

WWE! A New Era?

Hiya Guys, I really hope that this week's blog title is obvious to those of you who understand and will most likely read this post! I am a big WWE fan and, before you say 'oh it's fake', well I do know that but I'd like to also say that Marvel and DC and all those films are also fake. So, these last few weeks made history in WWE by having the Brand Split of RAW and Smackdown and making them both live.  Here is my overview of the Draft last week as well as the first week of the so-called 'new era.' Draft Day I will be honest and say that Draft Day was a huge disappointment in terms of the draft itself and the way it was organised. It seemed extremely lackluster and rushed in comparison to the other years and seemed to be very much focused on the Managers of each of the companies (Stephanie/ Mick Foley and Shane/ Daniel Bryan) instead of the superstars. Help! Essays are due!

Hiya guys, This week is another attempt at helping you gorgeous people to learn things through my mistakes. It is that time of the year and whether you've already given in essays or have some to give in, everyone will need help at some point. Please don't just take my word for it as I am only a first year university student and cannot help with content or structure .
