Manchester Will Stand Strong

Hiya guys, Today is yet another different post and one that is really hard for me to write. I may be at university in London but I was born and still live in Manchester for most of the year. So, waking up this morning after my last exam was meant to be a sigh of relief but instead it was a sense of uneasiness and worry. I was woken up with a message from my Uncle in Canada wanting to know whether me and my sister were okay, this raised alarm bells straight away. Fast forward ten minutes and my eyes couldn't believe what I saw, a bomb had been set of at the Manchester Arena after an Ariana Grande concert and had killed around 22 people. I initially thought it was some kind of horrid joke that had gone too far because I knew people who were going to that concert last night and it was so close to home. The Manchester Arena has been such a massive part of my life and a place that has the best memories from seeing my first concert (S Club 7) to seeing some of my all time favou

WWE Cruiserweight Live Opinion - Dear Crowds...

Hiya guys, This post is way too negative for my own liking but, after my exam this morning, I was almost brought to tears while I was watching WWE RAW from last night. I needed somewhere to air my grievances and tonight I'm having a go at the crowd, not Creative or the superstars. I was enjoying last nights show and, as usual, I was way too excited for the Cruiserweights match. The whole Monday night show is just me waiting for some of the Cruiserweights to come on and put those superstars to shame with their ability and technique. Well, you can imagine how upset I was when 4 of my favourite stars, Neville/ TJP v Austin Aries/ Jack Gallagher) on the ENTIRE roster had a tag team match. Wait, no... I wasn't upset that they came on, I was upset about the crowd's reaction. Those chants of 'This is boring,' and how the crowd wanted a refund really made me feel sick. Okay, you may not connect to these stars as much as the ones that you've watched for years

An Open Letter to Exams

This is a letter from me and probably the entire population who are or who ever have taken you while they were studying. I know you mean well and to some people you are their saving grace because they understand how your brain works and how you are manipulated by the lecturers, teachers and examiners but, at the end of the day, I am not one of those people... and neither are a lot of people. For most of us, you come around once a year and that time of the year and it is literally hell! I try to avoid you when I'm picking my subjects but why is it that all of the best subjects have to have you as assessment? Cold War - Exam. Germany - Exam. Britain - Exam.  I'll pretty much enjoy the entire year learning different things that are genuinely interesting (except maths and science at GCSE because I was just shit at those subjects) and getting to put that knowledge into practise by making products or writing stories. It makes me want to carry on studying for my entire life
