Something New each Day

Hiya Guys, I was extremely quiet last week but on top of essay's, I had some busy evenings in the form of going to see WWE live in Manchester and two night's of 5SOS. So, back onto what I love doing the most on this blog - MUSIC FRIDAY CONCERT REVIEW!! The weeks preceding the 5 Seconds of Summer concerts, I didn't really feel an overwhelming sense of excitement due to university work but come the Friday morning, I was itching to see these 4 Aussie idiots again! Then by Sunday morning, after two amazing nights, I was feeling down and suffering 'post 5SOS-itous' and it was because they were two amazing nights. Luke and Michael admitted from the word go that they were not feeling on top of the world as they both had dry throats and felt very ill. Well all I can say is that if I sounded as good as they did when they were ill normally then I would be more than happy. Hiya Guys, So last week I did a pretty in depth blogpost about my obsession for the underrated task of being a drummer but that got me thinking. Bassists are also very underrated as they're part of the quiet yet necessary bass section so I thought about doing a similar post but for bassists. The bass guitar is a wondrous instrument and if played correctly, it completely change a track and, if heard, it can be the most magical part of a song and encapsulate an audience. Everyone always complains how it is just a crappy version of a guitar with 4 strings but, to all those people, be gone with you demons! So here are my top bassists in no particular order. Hiya Guys, It's been a while and that is mostly because my A Levels have started and my mind is in full revision mode. But I had a nice day off yesterday and, as usual, my title basically tells you what this post is going to be about. After a hella' stressful trip which took us (me, mum and sister) an hour to get to the arena, we finally arrived and I got my chill back and some McDonald's. Taking a look at the merch store (which is always my favourite part of the pre-concert ritual) and the horrendous prices, I settled with a programme and queued up to go inside... I was surrounded by two types of girls that night: Girls of different ages who were dressed like they should've been at prom People who were dressed in all black or plaid (which I fitted into) The latter I found easier to look at, I didn't see the point of dressing in such a way because you were there to enjoy yourself not get married.
