Disney's Coco: Review

Hi my lil' fairies, Two movie reviews within the space of two weeks, aren't I lucky? Well, in this case, I definitely am because I saw two very different but both as amazing films recently. The first one was obviously The Greatest Showman and feel free to have a look back at that review if you want. The second one, as shown in the title, was Disney's Coco and this was probably the first Disney film I've seen in the cinema for a long time and I went alone. I worry how weird it must've looked amongst the crowd of little kids, just one lone student - well I definitely wasn't the only adult there without children and that's testament to the amazing film It's been a box office hit in the US and, since the release of it in the UK on Friday, it's become a big family favourite with viewers. Disney have definitely taken a different route from the normal Princess love story and found a beautiful and creative route: the story of dreams, and most impo...

The Greatest Showman Review

Hi my lil' Fairies, I had the pleasure of going to see The Greatest Showman last night. Even though I was looking forward to seeing it, I was sceptical on whether it would live up to some reviews. Luckily, I loved it and want to see it again, buy the album and marry Zac Efron! The film's based on the true story of P. T. Barnum's (Hugh Jackman) journey with creation of his Barnum & Bailey Circus and the lives of its star attractions. The first song, The Greatest Show, was an awesome way to start the film and really set the tone for the whole film. It introduced us to the cast from the get go but didn't really give away any of the story but it got me really excited to see what the storyline would bring. Without giving away too much of the story, Barnum recruits unique outcasts such as the Bearded lady Lellie Lutz, The World's fattest man and a brother and sister Anne Wheeler (Zendaya) trapeze act and embraces their oddities. With the help of Phillip Car...

Christmas at University *Top Tips for a Festive Month*

Hi my lil' Christmas Fairies, It's my absolute favourite time of the year and I can quite honestly say that I've been excited for Christmas since my birthday (which was the 1st Oct). However, come December, although I'm trying to get into the Christmas spirit, I have to remember that I'm in my 3rd year of university and have deadlines galore. So then, how do you get a flat (of two) and yourself into the Christmas mood when the education system wants to keep you down with essays and readings? Here is how I got ready for the Christmas season (I have not been sponsored for any of this but this is just where I bought all my stuff): 1. Christmas Tree (£4 from B&Q) What is the first thing you think about when someone mentions Christmas? For me it's the Christmas Tree and buying the perfect one for your place. Everything is ready for me at home but as a student, with a small flat and limited budget, it's sometimes so hard to find a tree that's ...

My Top 5 Disney Moments...

Hello my lil fairies, Like I've said, I probably had some of the best moments of my life while I was in Disney and it almost seemed impossible to narrow it down to a top 5. Yet, it seems like it would be a waste to not try and get it down to a small list because it might help you if you ever decide to go. It's sort of my top 5 moments and stuff that you should probably do when you go there. 1. The Happily Ever After Fireworks If fireworks can make me cry then somebody has done an amazing job! The Happily Ever After Fireworks at Magic Kingdom was probably the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. Disney managed to put together amazing fireworks, detailed illuminations and a beautiful story to make a spectacular spectacle! The blend of old and new Disney meant that everyone could at least sing along to half of the show, with Toy Story and Moana, you can't say that they're not catering to the masses. I felt like you need to go and watch it twice, once to look at...
